Justin Kropp is a graphic designer from the Southeast where he earned his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After earning his B.F.A. in graphic design, he built his career through various design studios, ultimately pursuing his interests in interaction design, information architecture, and user experience.

His graduate research looks at the role semiotic theory plays in the evolving design discourse and aims at illuminating the importance of understanding semiotic theory, particularly the theories of Charles Sanders Peirce and Charles W. Morris.
